We are currently seeking a Full-Time Clinical Supervisor to join our Clinical Leadership Team.
Position Summary
The Full-Time Clinical Supervisor is a key leader within MyWellbeing’s clinical organization. This role combines clinical supervision, quality oversight, performance management, and team leadership to support the development of early-career therapists and ensure strong client care across our Dedicated Program.
Supervisors play a central role in shaping clinical excellence, promoting ethical and equitable care, and fostering a culture where clinicians feel both supported and accountable. This position is ideal for a leader who values mentorship, communicates with warmth and clarity, and is energized by helping clinicians grow while also driving performance, consistency, and quality.
This role supervises pre-licensed Associate Therapists, including LMSWs, MHC-LPs, and MFT-LPs, and serves as a strategic partner to the VP of Clinical Services in advancing MyWellbeing’s mission and clinical standards.
What You Will Do
1. Clinical Supervision & Availability
Supervise approximately 12–15 Associate Therapists.
Conduct biweekly individual supervision sessions per supervisee.
Hold virtual office hours once weekly for clinical consultation.
Lead group supervision for cohorts 2 times per cohort per month.
Maintain timely responsiveness to supervisee clinical questions during regular working hours, including urgent support needs related to client safety and consultation within established escalation protocols.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support crisis escalation and clinician consultation on client safety.
Provide clear guidance rooted in ethics, cultural humility, and clinical best practices.
2. Clinical Quality & Documentation Oversight
Review and approve supervisee documentation, including:
Intake assessments and diagnoses (within 48 hours)
Treatment plans and progress notes (by 7pm ET Friday for preceding 7 days)
Mental status exams and other clinical forms
Ensure documentation meets licensure, insurance, and MyWellbeing compliance standards.
Support clinicians in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and progress tracking.
3. Operational & KPI Accountability
Monitor and coach supervisees on performance metrics, including:
Utilization (sessions held vs. scheduled)
No-shows and late cancellations
Client retention and engagement
Caseload balance and capacity planning
Note compliance and timeliness
Clinical outcomes
Approve leave requests and coordinate client coverage plans.
Use clinical dashboards to track and communicate supervisee KPIs weekly.
Identify patterns, coach for improvement, and escalate trends to the VP of Clinical Services as needed.
Lead caseload transition and reassignment if a supervisee leaves the practice; lead client transitions with associate team for HLOC or clinician fit needs
4. Performance Management & Professional Development
Conduct quarterly performance reviews for each supervisee.
Implement progressive discipline in collaboration with HR and Clinical Leadership.
Support supervisees in goal setting, professional growth, and exam readiness.
Address concerns related to clinical quality, timeliness, professionalism, or engagement proactively and compassionately.
Participate in training new supervisors and associates during onboarding cycles.
Oversee feedback for peer-to-peer video recordings on mock intakes and skills-based training practice
5. Collaboration & Team Leadership
Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with the VP of Clinical Services for supervision alignment and risk review.
Participate in weekly supervisor huddles to align on policy, clinical strategy, and culture.
Lead or co-lead quarterly training, culture-building events, or identity-based support groups for clinicians.
Contribute to hiring and onboarding of new associates and participate in candidate interviews.
Provide transparent, supportive communication regarding supervisee progress, risk, and development needs.
Estimated Weekly Breakdown
This role will begin in a part-time capacity and is expected to grow to full-time over approximately the first 3-6 months as associate therapist onboarding and supervisory caseload increases.
Estimated Weekly Hours:
Individual & Group Supervision (biweekly 1:1s, consultation, documentation review): 12–18 hrs
KPI & Performance Review, Admin, and Planning: 6–8 hrs
Meetings and Training (VP of Clinical Services, Supervisor Huddles, etc.): 3–4 hrs
Optional Direct Client Work: up to 10 scheduled client sessions per week, based on organizational need and candidate interest: 10–12 hrs
Total Estimated Weekly Hours: 30–40 hrs
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Independent clinical license in good standing (LCSW) in New York State
Minimum 3+ years of post-licensure clinical experience
Demonstrated experience supervising pre-licensed clinicians and providing team leadership in outpatient, group practice, or telehealth settings preferred
Experience supporting clinicians in both clinical development and performance accountability
Comfortable using performance metrics and clinical outcomes to guide coaching, decision-making, and accountability.
Strong knowledge of documentation standards, risk management, and evidence-based care
Comfort using digital tools such as SimplePractice, Zoom, and Google Workspace
Some schedule flexibility may be needed to support clinician consultation, risk management, and supervision coverage.

Compensation & Benefits
This position will begin as a part-time W2 Clinical Supervisor role, with a clear path to grow into a full-time supervisor position as the supervisory caseload and leadership responsibilities expand. Compensation will be commensurate with scheduled hours and scope of responsibility during the part-time phase, with full-time compensation and benefits available upon transition to full-time status.
