Associate Therapist (Remote - New York License)
About the job
You became a therapist to help people. We built Dedicated to help you.
Dedicated by MyWellbeing was created by Alyssa, an LCSW who experienced burnout early in her career – and realized she wasn't alone. She built the practice she wished had existed: one where clinicians feel genuinely supported, where caseloads are humane, and where becoming a great therapist is treated as a shared responsibility.
We've helped more than 250,000 people find mental health care and built a community of 2,000+ providers nationwide. Through Dedicated, we're investing in the next generation of therapists – with real supervision, real community, and real breathing room to do your best work.
Why Therapists Choose Dedicated
Most therapy jobs ask you to see 35–40 clients a week, chase down supervision, and figure out billing on your own. We built something different.
Caseloads designed to prevent burnout. We offer two full-time pathways — 22 or 28 attended sessions per week — both meaningfully lower than industry standard, because we've seen what happens when that number gets too high.
Clients come to you. We handle matching, marketing, and administrative work so you can focus on clinical care. No cold outreach. No scrambling to fill your calendar.
Supervision that actually develops you. Individual and group supervision 3–4x per month with clinical leaders who know your name, your caseload, and your growth edges — not just your session count.
A team that feels like a team. Monthly professional development, quarterly community gatherings, and a culture built by social workers who understand that holding others' pain is real.
A mission worth being part of. We're currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, and United — and expanding to Medicaid — because we believe access to quality care shouldn't depend on a client's income.
What Our Therapists Say
"My single favorite thing about working at Dedicated is how well my supervisor knows me and how attentive she is in answering my questions and building my confidence in the room. I wouldn't be the therapist I am today without her."
"I honestly wasn't expecting to build such lasting friendships when I took this job. There's something so needed about having a group of people who actually get what it feels like to be holding others' trauma when most of the time you are also working through your own."
"Alyssa and Jenny have created an environment that is so obviously designed by social workers. I have never felt this supported or listened to by a leadership team — and now that I've felt that, it's a non-negotiable for me."
"This team is somehow the Goldilocks: more diverse and innovative than other group practices, but not as large and bureaucratic as a hospital where the humanity in the work starts to get lost."
"I've really come to love our business learning at MyWellbeing. I would have never expected that — but I've also never been exposed to it, and I feel really lucky to be learning how to one day open my own practice with less fear."

Our Founding Story
Alyssa founded MyWellbeing in 2017 with a social work degree, a spreadsheet, and a whole lot of peers and colleagues who were desperate to connect with each other.
"Imagine if mental health were as personalized as recommendations on Netflix or Seamless," she thought.
Since its inception, MyWellbeing has supported millions of people in understanding and accessing mental health care.
About MyWellbeing
Therapy is about feeling seen, heard, and understood. At MyWellbeing, we recognize the courage it takes to practice vulnerability; to share, grieve, and heal; and to put language to our wants and needs.
Our mission is to reduce the stigma of therapy, to ease the stress of connecting with the right practitioner for you, and to empower every individual to develop a more loving, healthy relationship with themselves and those around them.
