Position Summary
This is a unique opportunity to serve as the founding Washington Clinical Supervisor, partnering closely with executive leadership during market entry and growth. The Washington Clinical Supervisor will initially serve as the lead licensed clinician of record for insurance contracting and regulatory alignment in Washington State. As the associate team grows, the role will expand to include formal clinical supervision, documentation oversight, and KPI-based coaching.
Unlike full-time supervisors, this position does not include on-call responsibilities or crisis escalation coverage but maintains active collaboration with the Clinical Leadership Team to ensure consistent quality of care and alignment with organizational standards.
Core Responsibilities
Phase 1: (~3-8 hours/week, variable during contracting period)
Serve as the designated Washington State LICSW for insurance credentialing and payer contracting
Support completion of payer applications and clinical documentation requirements
Review contracts as needed in collaboration with leadership
Advise on Washington-specific regulatory and supervision requirements
Provide consultation to VP of Clinical Services regarding WA scope-of-practice compliance
Participate in onboarding design for Washington associates
Attend biweekly leadership check-ins during launch phase
This phase may include periodic fluctuations in hours depending on contracting timelines.
Phase 2: (~5-15 hours/week depending on supervisee volume)
1. Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Supervise 5–15 Associate Licensed Clinicians (LICSW-A)
Conduct biweekly individual supervision sessions for each supervisee
Hold group supervision 2x per month focused on skill-building, documentation, or case discussion
Provide supervision rooted in ethics, cultural humility, and clinical best practices
Collaborate with the VP of Clinical Services for supervision alignment, feedback, and development support
2. Documentation & Clinical Quality Review
Review and sign off on supervisee documentation, including:
Intake assessments and diagnoses (within 48 hours)
Treatment plans and progress notes (within 7 days of session)
Mental status exams and clinical forms as applicable
Ensure documentation meets licensure, insurance, and MyWellbeing compliance standards.
Support supervisees in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation of measurable progress.
3. KPI Oversight & Performance Coaching
Monitor and coach supervisees on core performance indicators, including:
Attendance and utilization rates (sessions held vs. scheduled)
No-show and late-cancel rates
Active caseload size and capacity balance
Note compliance and timeliness
Retention and engagement (5+ sessions, 60+ days in care)
Client outcomes and discharge planning
Use clinical dashboards to track performance and communicate progress in supervision
Identify trends or barriers, coach for improvement, and escalate concerns or risk patterns to the VP of Clinical Services as needed
Collaborate on caseload transitions and coverage when supervisees take leave or exit the practice
4. Performance Management & Professional Development
Conduct quarterly performance reviews with supervisees
Partner with the Clinical Leadership Team to implement progressive discipline when indicated
Support supervisees in goal setting, exam readiness, and professional growth
Address performance, documentation, or professionalism issues proactively and compassionately
Participate in onboarding and training of new associates as requested
5. Collaboration & Team Culture
Attend weekly supervisor huddles to align on supervision standards, policy updates, and clinical strategy
Contribute to culture-building and training initiatives (as available)
Communicate supervisee progress, trends, and development needs transparently and collaboratively

Qualifications
Washington State Independent clinical license in good standing (LICSW)
Approved Washington State Clinical Supervisor (meeting WA DOH requirements for supervision of associates)
Minimum 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience
Prior experience in clinical supervision or leadership preferred
Demonstrated skill in data-informed coaching and KPI oversight
Strong working knowledge of documentation standards and clinical best practices
Proficiency with digital platforms (SimplePractice, Zoom, Google Workspace)

Compensation & Benefits
Part-Time W2 Role (~3 hours/week for phase 1 & ~5-15 hours/week for phase 2)
Hourly Rate: $50/hour
Per associate monthly compensation based on supervision load

Flexible remote schedule within established supervision timelines
Eligible for additional hours or expanded scope based on organizational needs and interest
